We are so excited that you are interested in joining the EOF Family!
Please make sure to check “yes” to EOF on the Rutgers application. If you have already applied, frequently check your admissions portal and email for communication from the admissions team about your application status. Once you are admitted, our office will be in contact!
Summer Institute
This year’s Summer Institute will run Friday, July 5, 2024- Friday, August 2, 2024!
Students should expect to take a college level course and engage in activities that will help prepare them for the expectations and rigors of college life. The Summer Institute also provide an opportunity to build long-lasting connections with fellow students, staff, and faculty.
Participation and Completion of the Summer Institute is required as part of your admissions into the EOF program. If you have any concerns about your ability to participate, please contact Mr. Matt West at: mw1098@camden.rutgers.edu
EOF 1st Year Student Checklist
Please review all the items and click on the links below. Many of the items listed can be found in your Rutgers Portal.
Confirm Admissions by May 15, 2024
If you have not already accepted your admissions for EOF at Rutgers-Camden, you must do so in your application portal. Space is limited for the EOF Program, so you are strongly encouraged to secure your spot ASAP!
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
Complete the application for academic year 2024-2025. Make sure to list Rutgers University as one of your receiving institutions (FAFSA code: 002629).
Create a NJFAMS Account
Create a NJFAMS User ID and Password to manage your state grant aid. You can find your “To Do List” and “Award and Eligibility” information as well as other functions to assist you with your state aid process.
Check Financial Aid Student Portal
Login to your portal and check for any missing documents your and/or your parent(s)/guardian(s) must submit. It is important you check your portal frequently and complete requirements ASAP to confirm your eligibility for the EOF program.
Complete Placement Tests
After you confirm your admission, you will be required to complete your Math, English, & Foreign Language placement tests online via your myRutgers portal. Placement tests are required for all new students, unless you have earned college or AP credit.
Submit Health and Immunization Forms
All new Rutgers students are required to complete and upload immunization records in the Rutgers immunization portal. This process requires signatures from your doctor and copies of your immunizations, so start early!
Attend Rutgers-Camden Admitted Students Day
April 27, 2024
This fun, interactive event will introduce you to our campus community and provide you with an opportunity to connect with us and learn important next steps in our EOF new scholar session. Watch your email for an invite and more details!
Attend Orientation
You will be required to attend an on-campus orientation to learn more about what to expect with your transition into Rutgers-Camden and your participation in the EOF program! Check your email frequently for orientation dates and details
