Educational Opportunity Fund

EOF, or Educational Opportunity Fund, is a support program for New Jersey residents from educationally and economically disadvantaged backgrounds, including first generation students. Participants benefit from support in academics, college life, community connections, and financial aid opportunities, to meet their college goals and graduate.

What is EOF?

EOF is a New Jersey state-funded program that provides financial aid and educational support to New Jersey’s for students from economically and educationally disadvantaged backgrounds. First-generation college students are especially encouraged to apply.

For prospective students, EOF services can help guide you down the path of enrollment with admission and application support.
For incoming first-year students, EOF’s Summer Institute gives you a jumpstart on your college career and the opportunity to earn up to 6 free credits.
