Welcome to EOF Update:
Submitted by Dr. Chris Dougherty
Director, EOF Program
Associate Dean, Faculty of Arts and Sciences
Welcome to EOF Update, a web-based information resource for students, faculty, and staff associated with the EOF Program at Rutgers-Camden. We’re planning simple beginnings for EOF Update for the next few months, but hope to develop this resource to include comprehensive information regarding on-campus events, grant and scholarship opportunities, and other resources of interest to the program. EOF Update’s format is simple, announcements at the top, features at the bottom. In the future, we hope to include articles of interest from experts across the University and the state of New Jersey and beyond who are in a position to provide meaningful comments, suggestions, or directions to EOF students and the professionals who work with them.
In the interim, should you have comments, suggestions, or submissions for EOF Update, Please share them with me or another member of the EOF Staff. My e-mail is chrdou@camden.rutgers.edu, or you can contact the EOF office at (856) 225-6107. |

Introducing New EOF Student Group
The EOF Program is delighted to recognize the recent formation of a new EOF Organization, lead by President Jasmine Morrison and Vice President Rose Santos. The group has planned a series of inaugural events for the month of April, including:
- A presentation entitled “Real Money 101,”on Wednesday, April 20, to serve as a preview to a broader student financial planning series to be offered in fall, 2005,
- A luncheon to introduce the purpose and goals for the group, and to encourage membership from students, and
- A trip in late April to Great Adventure on April 30 for fun and fellowship for new members.
Formed with a stated purpose to establish a connection to the campus through inspiration, the group’s mission is to provide students with a connection to their academic, professional, and personal lives through educational programming. For more information, see the announcements section above or contact Jasmine Morrison at jasmmorr@camden.rutgers.edu.
